I’m Chrishay Masters, but most people know me as Shay
My journey into doula services was inspired by the profound experiences of motherhood. These moments ignited a passion within me to support women as they reclaim their emotional, spiritual, and physical birthrights. As a doula, I bring a blend of intuition, compassion, and expertise, drawing from my personal journey birthing my angel baby and three children.
My goal is to walk alongside you on this sacred journey of motherhood, recognizing birth as a deeply spiritual process that connects us to our mind, body, and soul. I believe in the innate strength and capability of every woman to navigate this transformative rite of passage. I feel incredibly blessed to be a mother. My dedication to doula work deepened as I immersed myself in understanding the roles of a doula, pregnancy, labor, childbirth, and postpartum care.

My exploration into childbirth brought to light the disparities in maternal health care between Black and Brown mothers, which significantly impact mortality rates among mothers. This awareness fueled my commitment to becoming a certified doula and advocating for equitable and compassionate care for all mothers. Above all, as your doula, I promise to provide unwavering support and care, understanding its crucial role in ensuring the optimal health and well-being of both you and your baby.
